The 5K

Bike for Cancer Care Added 5K Run/Walk in 2016!

This new, family friendly 5K Run/Walk for Cancer Care throughout the historic Stockade District in Uptown Kingston, and a Kids Fun Run inside Dietz Stadium are components of the Bike for Cancer Care!

The model for the Run/Walk is the same as the bike ride, to bring family and friends together to raise money and show support of families fighting cancer in our community. The Run/Walk is a non-competitive event suited for all ages – there will be no official timer!

The Kids Fun Run (ages 5 – 10) offers supervised children’s activities for parents in the 5K.

This is a great day for the entire family! So whether you ride the 12, 25, or 50-mile route, run or walk the 5K, there is one common goal – to raise money for families fighting cancer in our community.

Food, beverages and ice cream will be provided compliments of our Platinum Sponsors – Hannaford Supermarkets and Stewart’s Ice Cream Shops! There will be live entertainment, children’s activities, raffles, and great prices for the top three individuals and fundraising teams.

Become a Sponsor and join many local businesses in supporting cancer patients in our community! .92 of every dollar raised from the Bike for Cancer Care goes directly to cancer patients in need.
